The Inuit Experience with Sled Dogs

With snowshoes attached to your feet we will deep into the snowcovered surroundings of Villarrica National Park and explore a little bit the life of the Inuit. In company of a siberian husky you will hike up to a fantastic viewpoint and there you will learn how to build an igloo.
We will do a professionally guided snowshoe hike far away from the touristy areas on the quiet southern edge of Villarrica Nationalpark.
After a substantial trapper meal we will build an igloo where it is still warm inside when outside temperatures drop below -25 degrees celsius.

Start: 9 am at IX Region Ltda.
Equipment briefing
Theoretical and practical Introduction into the world of snowdogs
Preparacion of the equipment for the tour
4x4 drive(Land Rover Defender) to the starting point
Start of the approx.1,5 hours snowshoe hike
Lunch stop along the way (open fire or stove)
Building of an igloo
Return to IX Region Ltda
Option to help and feed the dogs
Goodbye with mulled wine
Departure around 5 pm
