Discover Mushing

Tourdescription

Perfect for initial contact with sled dogs and mushing.You will learn about the equipment(harnesses, sled), but most
important about Huskies! As a future musher you will learn the basic skills about handling sleddogs. Together with your teammates you will prepare the siberian huskies and the sled and you will support eachother during the start. One of the teammates will be on the track and in the meantime the others can have "expert"discussions about Mushing.

Start 10am at IX Region Ltda
Theoretical and practical introduction into the world of snowdogs
Introduction of the Huskies
Preparation of the equipment for the tour
4x4 drive to the starting point
Start of the daytrip
Lunch stop along the way (open fire or stove)
Return to IX Region Ltda
Option to help and feed the dogs
Goodbye with mulled wine
Departure around 5 pm

The price includes:
lunch, coffee/tea

Clothing suggestions:
all-weather-proof,warm clothes, winterboots, sticky gloves, sunglasses
