The Picaflor is a hummingbird of the patagonian Rainforest and can be seen frequently around the cabin.
His sounds and the quite waters of the Anilco river are the sounds that you will enjoy during a barbeque on your private veranda. You can also enjoy a relaxing evening infront of the cozy fireplace!
During the day you can explore the breathtaking Araukarian Region, a unique composition of lakes, forests and Vulcanos. The lakes Villarrica and Calafquen with their black sand beaches are only a couple of miles away and are well suited for swimming and watersport activities. Near by attracts the Villarrica Vulcano, surrounded by the Villarrica National Park with its countless Hot Springs. This part of Patagonia with all the lakes and volcanos has much to offer: Trekking, hiking, climbing, swimming, rafting, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, biking, the Mapuche culture and much more.
If you want to find relaxation, you are in the right location. During the night the only sounds you will hear are the sounds of rivers which surround our property. After a rejuvenating good nights sleep, a country breakfast in bed can be served for a minimum additional charge if you desire. Our eggs are country fresh and straight from our own farm. Our marmelade is homemade and milk and butter come directly from local cows.
After breakfast you could go for a little walk up to our volcano lookout point. It is very likely that you are accompanied by our sheep Lisa, our cat Felix and our Bernese Mountain Dog Kara. Take your fishing rod with you to catch a salmon or trout in one of our streams. For the toughest among you we also have a natural bathing spot in the ice cold water of the river Anilco.
On our property we have two Criollo horses available for rent. Riding lessons are also available.
If you like to stay closer to the ground, than on the back of a horse, you can help us with the training of our Siberian Huskies and go for a ride with the training cart.
Finally you can relax with a Quantum Touch treatment, a form of energy healing, to gain new power for new Adventures in the south of Chile.
