The Chucao is a bird of the patagonian Rainforest and has a very unique call wich he is named after. His call and the quite waters of the Anilco river are the sounds that you will enjoy during a barbeque on your private veranda. You can also enjoy a relaxing evening infront of the cozy fireplace!
During the day you can explore the versatile Region Araukaria, an idylic place of lakes, forests and vulcanos! The lakes "Calafquen" and "Villarrica", with there lovely black sand beaches, are only a couple of miles away and are perfect for swimming. Also nearby is the vulcano Villarrica surrounded by the beautiful National Park Villarrica and the countless Hot Springs. The southern part of Chile has a lot to offer. Trekking, climbing volcanos, swimming, horseback riding, mountain biking, mapuche culture and much more.
If you are interested in spending a relaxing day, our place is the right choice for you. If you like, after a good nights sleep, a freshly prepared country breakfast with eggs from our chickens, fresh milk and homemade marmelade will be served.
Afterwards you can go for a little walk to one of our places with a wonderful view of the Villarrica Volcano. Most likely you will be acompanied by our sheep Lisa, our cat Felix and our Bernese Mountain Dog Kara.
Take your fishing equipment with you because the surrounding rivers
are full of salmon and trout. The toughest of you can also try out our very natural and cold bathing spot in the Anilco River.
You can rent our two horses for horseback riding or riding lessons.
If you like to stay closer to the ground, than on the back of a horse, you can help us with the training of our Siberian Huskies and go for a ride with the training cart.
Finally you can relax with a Quantum Touch treatment, a form of energy healing, to gain new power for new Adventures in the south of Chile.
